Position Purpose and General Summary
Position Details
- This is a salaried position. Candidates must be available to support staff or individuals during non-traditional hours and be available to work more than 40 hours per week as needed.
General Duties
Primary Responsibilities:
- Hire, train and supervise employees in accordance with agency standards.
- Develop and monitor employee schedules based on the needs of the individuals receiving TLC services.
- Establish and implement departmental goals objectives and team building initiatives.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively to supervised employees.
- Monitor employee performance, provide coaching and conduct and conduct evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with agency policies, regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with employees, individuals receiving services, family members and external agencies.
- Communicate clearly and professionally both in writing and verbally.
- Motivate employees to achieve established goals and objectives.
- Demonstrate strong communication, supervisory and leadership abilities.
- Apply Person-Centered practices to support staff and ensure high-quality, individualized services for those we serve.
- Provide or arrange backup-support when direct support staff are unavailable.
