Position Purpose and General Summary

Position Details

  • This is a salaried position. Candidates must be available to support staff or individuals during non-traditional hours and be available to work more than 40 hours per week as needed.  

General Duties

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Hire, train and supervise employees in accordance with agency standards.
  • Develop and monitor employee schedules based on the needs of the individuals receiving TLC services. 
  • Establish and implement departmental goals objectives and team building initiatives. 
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively to supervised employees.
  • Monitor employee performance, provide coaching and conduct and conduct evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with agency policies, regulatory requirements and best practices.  
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with employees, individuals receiving services, family members and external agencies. 
  • Communicate clearly and professionally both in writing and verbally.
  • Motivate employees to achieve established goals and objectives. 
  • Demonstrate strong communication, supervisory and leadership abilities. 
  • Apply Person-Centered practices to support staff and ensure high-quality, individualized services for those we serve.  
  • Provide or arrange backup-support when direct support staff are unavailable.
